Jastram Engineering, a specialist in marine hydraulic steering, offers a unique electronic control system for precise, accurate and fully independent control of twin steering gears.  Vessels with multiple rudder arrangements such as catamarans, work boats, icebreakers and offshore patrol vessels will benefit from this system.  Mechanical linkage between the port and starboard rudders is not required.

Jastram - Table of Contents 2004 -

Footnote:  An introduction to Jastram Web Archives 1996-2004

Jastram Engineering Ltd developed its first web site in the summer of 1996 in the days of Netscape 1.1 - when the Internet's World Wide Web was "young".

Do you remember when 28.8 k dialup telephone modems were fast?  When the average web viewer used a monitor that was only 640 pixels in screen width? . Much of the materials in Jastram's web archives reflect the web in the late 1990's when the average viewer used a screen resolution of 800 pixels in width and the "DOTCOM boom" began to take place.

Much of the materials in this section are still useful for reference purposes and thus we have left it on the web.

in August 2004 a totally new look will be launched, however our older web pages will continue to remain accessible to our viewers through our Jastram Web Archives 1996-2004.  This page serves as a portal to our older content

Please remember that our most current content is available through the Jastram.com HOME PAGE

For viewers with older computer systems and/or slower dialup modems, we ask that you be patient with the longer web page download times on the new pages.  You will note that the new looks takes advantage of Macromedia ® Flash technology and Adobe® Acrobat PDF files - the wait is worth it.
